Among them, 3, 4- difluoro-2-hydroxychalcone (9) and 3-fluoro-2-hydroxy-4- methoxychalcone (10) were the most promising agents which demonstrated impressive effects on neutrophil degranulation, neutrophil superoxide formation, and TNF-■formation in macrophage and microglial cells.
