Keep under Surveillance with disease to know the correlation between the occupational cancer and occupation, With the to advantage of study research method. We hope could apply to industrial hygiene, preventing occupational disease, and occupation cancer. Through the surveillance and investigating system, could be benefit to occupation disease study and occupation succor, from our research suggestion, there is positive meaning to industrial hygiene and occupation disease preventing.
Method
The data from Environment Protection Administration ROC, the factory which using the occupation Causative agent : Benzidine, Benzene.
Set forth the questionnaire to these factories and company, such as chemical using and operator numbers, after accomplish the lists, then use the hospitalized data of labor insurance at 1985~1994.
We try to do:
1.select the Bladder cancer, and Leukemia patient from these factory.
2.From the labor insurance data, to observe the hospitalized people in these factories.
3.Using PCMR analysis the data, find the element or factor correlation,
from these subject worker and patient.
Result
There are 3 Bladder cancer cases and 6 Leukemia patient in 9 factories, after investigating and statistics analysis, We could confirm that the correlation were effect up on worker’s operative place. From the results, We back to the company, observing the chemical materials, manufacture process and occupational causative agents, to understand which one could be the most reason to occupation disease. After investigating, We conform that one Bladder cancer and one Leukemia patient are relative to the operative place.
Discuss
The PCMR analysis result, that Bladder cancer and Leukemia are nosignificant , the probably reason may be:
(1) Worker exposure definition(2)small sample size (3)other interference From these study, to bring up useful, ideal policy and decision-making process for labor and workers, With the methodology could be provide some information to government and industrial hygiene
research.
