Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所 === 88 === Researche literature on Integrated Circuit factories is most theoretical subject. Although these researches are valuable, few of them could match the real operating situation. Seen in this light, this research, different from those before, is first directed towards finding out the problems firms face in operation, and then probes into related theories. We hope that this “Facing and then solving” research mode could eliminate the gap between ‘theories’ and ‘practices’, and further be a great help to firms. This research takes the most important working section of IC factories─photo─ as the research sample, and IC firms of Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park as the chief sources. From the aspect of theory, both “individuals” and “firms” are measured. For “individuals”, the “vitality”, “concentration”, “emotion”, and “health” while working are taken into consideration; for “firms”, the “production”, “rework”, “adjustment”, and “accident” while operating are considered. Furthermore, from the aspect of “practice”, the “resignation rate”, “rework rate”, “accident rate”, “production”, “rotation” are considered. 216 questionnaires with the content designed after interviews with firms are issued, of which 186 questionnaires are valid. The valid rate is 86.1%.The analysis of the result shows that the necessity of regular rotation of production line supervisors and operators depends on the management principles of each firm. Firms that mind the resignation rate are not suitable to enforce regular rotation on production line supervisors. And firms that pay attention to “rework rate” should consider more on the rotation shift of production line operators. As to the firms require only production, rotation or not on production line supervisors and operators is unimportant.
