Computer simulation is performed to investigate the features of this PN sequence generator, such as linear complexity, partial correlation distributions, balance and the run length distributions of 1 and 0. From the simulation results, the PN sequence generator has a large linear complexity and a very long period. The numbers of 1 and 0 are nearly equal, and the distributions of partial correlation and run length of 1 and 0 are near that of ideal binary random sequence. So that the PN sequence generator is very suitable for the PN code used in secure DS-SS communication systems.
