Otherwise, in order to satisify the requirements of stable control, also design an estimator to achieve sensorless adaptive speed control. Due to the strategy of speed controller, based on the theory of model reference adaptive system, so we adopt modified model reference adaptive system (MMRAS). In which the parameters could adjust themselves and make good performance to get the robust control. Considering the techniques of estimations, we use recursive least square estimation to design two estimators. One of them estimates motor parameters , to derive the load. Then compute rotor electrical angular velocity indirectly by derived load, and complete the design of sensorless. Such a design is a new method which have no computation problems to make the incorrect control during operation. The other one estimates stator resistance. After all, update those estimated motor parameter , and into the MMRAS speed controller to reduce the effect of motor parameter varying and achieve the design object of sensorless adaptive MMRAS speed controller. Finally, results of simulation and experiment prove the effectiveness of sensorless adaptive speed controller for permanent magnet synchronous motor with vector control.
