碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 醫務管理研究所 === 87 === Abstract: This research is discussing the department-choice of lumbago patients when he/she try treatment and the relation between self-evaluation curative effect. Two main points we discussed are below: 1、Understanding the difference between patients’ character and medical treatment choice (Herbalism or Rehability ). 2、Comparing of Herbalism and Rehability the curative effect by patient-self. We approach this study by phone-visiting, the patients we visit are belong to one hospital of Miao-Li in Taiwan. We get 406 successful questionnaires, including 243 lumbago patients who choose Herbalism treatment and continuous-treatment for 6 visits and163 patients who choose Rehability therapy and continuous-treatment for 6 visits. According to the analysis result, two conclusion: 1. Select-department is related on some items of patient’s character, including age, occupation, the cause of lumbago, the type of lumbago, history of lumbago, reason for treatment and acute/chronic symptom. On the other side, patient’s sex, native, education, the feeling of pain are no significant related found in this study. 2. According to the patient’s self-evaluation curative effect, most people feel unhelpful in both Herbalism and Rehability treatment. We suggest that, authority should integrate the resource of Herbalism and Rehability, building a co-diagnosis system and education center for lumbago patients, educate people the right concept , it will be good for patients.
