This study adopted both questionnaire survey and content analysis. The data were gathered from 1005 students at 20 elementary schools in Taipei City. The data of questionnaire survey were analyzed by SPSS for Windows 6.0 using frequency, Chi-square test, t-test, Spearman correlation coefficients and one-way ANOVA, at α=.05 significant level. The study attempted to provide suggestions for the teachers, parents, publishers and future research. The conclusions of the study were as follows: 1.Students’ identification degree for comics figures was very high, but varied with the factor of different grade and reading frequency. 2.Half of the students had comics figures as identification models, but it varied with the factor of their grade, parents’ education level, academic performance, reading frequency and identification degree. 3.Carntoon/ comics figures were the main resource of students’ identification models. Positive relationships existed between identifying story figures and identifying cartoon/comics figures. High negative relationships existed between identifying parents, identifying teachers and identifying cartoon/comics figures. 4.Social-justice and intelligence/skill ability was the most important reasons why students identified their comics figures. Sex-difference ideology would influence students’ identification for comics figures, but boys were influenced more than girls were. 5.Sex-difference ideology would influence students to choose the role type of comics figures as identification models, but boys were influenced more than girls were. Most of the role types of comics figures identified by students were male, similar age, excellent intelligence and skill performance, and beautiful/ handsome appearance. 6.The comics figures identified by students presented various value. They presented more “friendship value” and “intelligence/skill performance value” than other value and presented more “Social value” and “personal value” than “family value”. Finally the study provided for suggestions for the teachers, parents, publishers and future research. Fen-Fen Chang 張芬芬 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 181 zh-TW |
