Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 管理科學學系 === 87 === This thesis is mainly a study of the chain enterprises in Taiwan and trying to establish a complete procedure of the overall planning for chain enterprises. The purpose is to explore the various aspects of analytical structure which used by enterprises as the base when making decisions regarding the chain-linkage management. It is also widely to examine the analytical techniques used in each structural aspect. Hence, each structural aspect can closely link together and thus makes it easier for overall thinking and planning. There are three objectives in this study: (1) to establish a feasible set of planning procedure for enterprise chain-linkage in Taiwan; (2) to explore and verify the feasibility of the procedure with case practices; (3) to give practical suggestions to chain enterprises. The methodology of this study includes a study and analysis of documents and empirical proof by case studies. Theories and documents from domestic and foreign information are obtained by looking up books, papers, periodicals and magazines. Information for empirical proof is obtained by in-depth case interviews. To establish The theoretical structure of overall planning procedure for enterprise chain-linkage was set up based on an abstract of the ideas and reference from the domestic and foreign documents in the past and relevant theories. In addition to, the demands and the operational development in the practical world are also taken into account. Hence, the structure can serve as a reference and application for the enterprises in Taiwan to proceed with the overall planning for chain-linkage. The main findings in this study are: (1) Chain enterprises value the creation of company images. (2) The speed of chain expansion is proportional to the profitability level of stores. (3) The type of chain franchise is related to the core service provided by the headquarters. (4) The type of chain franchise has a significant impact on the speed of store expansion. (5) The attainment of economic-scale number of stores is the condition for the headquarters of the logistics system to decide the degree to involve in. (6) The licensing franchise regard the agreement on the managerial concepts is one of the important element. (7) The connection between chain enterprises and franchisees lies on the ability of constantly providing benefits.
