The precursor was then hydrolysed and co-codensated with tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) in tetrahydrofuran at room temperature to afford epoxy-SiO2 hybrid sol-gel materials having different SiO2 contents. The epoxy-SiO2 with different SiO2 content were used as fillers for dental composite resins.
