However , as many civil applications require better accuracy than the 100 meter that GPS can provide , methods to improve the GPS SPS(Standard Positioning Service) performance has been of great interests. Differential GPS has been used widely to improve the GPS accuracy to better than 10 meters. However , conventional DGPS is often limited by the useful range of correction terms. Wide Area DGPS (WADGPS) holds the efficiency that traditional DGPS could afford , and greatly increases the effective range of the correction . In this paper we examine the result of per-processing differential correction . A algorithm is applied called Minimum Variance Algorithm (MVA) .This algorithm solves for the minimum variance weighting coefficients which are applied by the reference stations of limited numbers . After obtaining the weighting differential corrections , we substitute them into the Least Square Method , and compare the corrected coordinates .
