Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 87 === This thesis was to investigate the tribological behaviors of the copper-based bearing material which were added by solid lubricants(such as graphite, MoS2 , BN , Pb , Zn , WS2 , MiCa , talc , etc.)as well as the specimen for wear test was made by P/M method. The reciprocating tribometer Plient TE77 frictional test machine was used to evaluate the copper-based bearing material wear resistance and friction behavior under dry and lubrication conditions. However, The copper-based bearing material cylinder specimen was sliding on hardened AISI 52100 steel stationary flat specimen with line contact method. In addition, the width of wear scar was obtained by optical microscope to evaluate the wear resistance of each specimen as well as the worn surface was analyzed by SEM to identify the wear mechanisms.
The experimental results show that the wear resistance of copper-based bearing material which contain 10 wt.% graphite got the best performance than the others under dry test condition. The effect of the solid lubricants on copper-based bearing material wear resistance is not obviously if it composition less than 5 wt.% in lubrication test condition. However, the wear resistance of copper-based bearing material decreased with increased the solid lubricants such as graphite, MoS2, BN, MiCa and talc, while the quantities of solid lubricant more than 5 wt.%.
