Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 管理研究所資訊管理學程 === 87 === In order to successfully and profitably operate in rapidly changing global markets, scholars and practitioners believe that competitive forces are pushing all major firms to become international enterprises. Several authors and practitioners identified a number of factors that will influence the growth of the corporate logistics function in the next decade, such as IT, BTO, CTO, ERP and SCM. High-tech industries were really announcing a strategy for long term survival via a new global business with Information Architecture (IA) model that they believed would create a new-customer value revolution. The aim of this study is to develop and examine the construction, application and promotion of IA during the process of business globalization. The study''s major research subject is the relative information technology industry in Taiwanese enterprises. The purpose of the study is to research the application information technology model and influencing factors of the Business Globalization Process in Taiwan. There are two major factors that need to be considered for the application of IT during the Business Globalization Process. The first factor is the process of globalization that comprises the stages of entering, growth, expansion, and integration. The second factor is the IA in international businesses, including Data Architecture, Network Architecture, Information Systems, and Information Planning and Managing. A qualitative research methodology is applied to build up the application model of IA in globalization. A quantitative methodology is adopted to measure the importance of IA and the degree of actual applilcation by Taiwanese enterprises when conducting globalization. The results of research are developed as following: (1)Centralized strategic structure is right for the entering stage of globalization process; (2)Decentralized strategic structure is right for the growth stage; (3)Coordinated strategic structure is right for the expansion stage; (4)Integrated strategic structure is right for the integration stage.
