The easy-access nature of the pervasive World-Wide Web soon makes it a popular media for educational communication between teachers and their students. However, constructing an educational web site may involve some complicated web technologies which are outside the domain of most teachers. This thesis presents a system to help teachers with construct their educational web sites without any programming. A teacher simply needs to supply some parameter values and the system will automatically configure a web site for a chosen course. Furthermore, the system also supports certain user customization and extension so that the generated educational web sites can be personalized to satisfy individual needs. Finally, the system is web-based; therefore, teachers can maintain their educational web sites through the web, too.
