碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工程技術研究所建築學程 === 87 === Abstract The Show-tian Temple on Sungpoling in Na-tou county is the largest Xuan-tian God Temple in the nation which brings the climax of local activities during the pilgrimage every year. Sungpoling is the home of tea. Its scenery is the best of Na-tou Eight Sights. Every year on the Xuan-tian God''s birthday there are thousands of people is attracted to here. A numerous person capacity is derived from the large amount of tourism. An active everyday use pattern is due to the religious belief which affects the use pattern in surrounding areas of Show-tian Temple. However, the use of everyday in the Temple celebrations and daily are extremely different. Therefore, an inquiry into use of everyday and space use of pattern becomes the key subject of this thesis. The thesis proceeds from analyzing the characteristic of use. It is going to examine following two categories, characteristic of use of everyday, and space use of pattern, on an environment-behavior basis. The items of analysis which is derived from the characteristic, includes analysis of the difference between the use of everyday in celebrations and daily and examination of topics in the use of everyday. The four major topics in the use of pattern are current outdoor space use of everyday in the using types of hawker-space, townhouse arcade, and temple gateway. The result is as following ︰ （1） For the characteristic of use of everyday,these item showing obviously difference are : primary goal ,transportation ,traffic time, frequency of use, the person come with the user the characteristic, total time of staying ,enter-way, the people of local activities. （2） For the space use of pattern :the main use of pattern in townhouse arcade is Tea trade , When the celebration is coming, the main use of pattern is snakes selling, In common day it become local form product selling.The primary use of pattern during celebrations in temple gateway is relingion activity. In other days it will combine varies activities ,including :pay respects to religion,climb, view seeing, sitting freely etc. all kinds of activities.
