The aim of this paper is to study the effect of air supply and distribution on wood combustion, the variables considered includes:(1)the total air flux, (2)the ratio of under-fire air/over-fire air, (3)the position of over-fire air, (4)control of under-fire air supply. According to the results presented, it is concluded that the combustion gas temperature and combustion rate are most influnced by the factors (1) and (2).
