Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 87 === This thesis develop a prototype of a multipurpose air conditioner with air as a heat source. The prototype modifies the flow of refrigerant of a commercialized heat pump, by installing a heat-recovery heat exchanger between change-over valve and outlet of the compressor .For increasing energy utilization efficiency, a heat storage tank is designed to conform the multipurpose air conditioner. In addition to supply cold water for air conditioning in summer and hot water for air conditioning in winter, the multipurpose air conditioner also supplies hot water for daily uses needed in daily life, such as dish washing and bathing, through different circulation combinations and operations. In addition, a series of experiments are performed to test the performance of the multipurpose air conditioner. The experiments can be divided in two parts. One is starting test for supplying hot water in summer and winter, the other is the comparison between with and without heat-regaining heat exchanger. The experimental results show that the prototype with the heat-recovery heat exchanger has the potential of conservation as compared with without the heat-recovery heat exchanger experiment. On the other hand starting test for supplying hot water in summer have some faults, for example, the pipe behind the expansion valve freezes easily. Starting test for supplying hot water in winter also have some faults, for example, it can only supply insufficient energy to load. Further work can be done to meet the requirement of different operating conditions.
