Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 農業工程學研究所 === 87 === Chi-Ken reservoir is the first subsurface reservoir in Pescadores, Taiwan. This reservoir has a serious salinization problem, there have two possible causes of salinization , such as : (1) percolation from subsurface barrier. (2) percolation from weathering basalt. This research applied GMS (Groundwater Modeling System) as a interface to input soil layer data , hydro-geological parameter, boundary conditions, initial condition and amount of pumping. After that, a three dimension FEMWATER model is adopted to simulate the possible leakage position of the subsurface barrier. Comparing with observed groundwater levels and the chloride concentration distribution data, the most possible leakage position is under the bottom of the barrier. The numerical model had been calibrated and verified , then nine combination sets of simulation with different boundary conditions is applied to know the chloride concentration distribution by changing the amount of pumping and that of infiltration . The results showed that the amount of infiltration is much more sensitive than that of pumping of this model at affecting of the concentration distribution of Chi-Ken subsurface reservoir .
