Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 資訊工程學研究所 === 87 === This dissertation presents the design and implementation of a Jini-based dynamic network system, and comparison between Jini and UPNP. A dynamic network device embraces the zero-configuration ability when it is used in network. In our system, a camera and a printer are plugged into network, and client can directly use these services without any configuration.
Our system also contains two tools: a JoinManager tool and a ServiceLauncher tool. JoinManager assists user to join services, which have special interfaces needed by JoinManager, such as Camera service and Printer service in this paper. ServiceLauncher will help users to launch service programs, which serve clients on network.
