| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林學研究所 === 87 === The main purpose of this study was to understand the inhabitants'' evaluation about living quality, and the condition of inhabitants using wood for interior decoration. This study proceeded by questionnaire. Livability was evaluated for 19 living factors by benefit structure analysis which expressed a two dimensional evaluation of the living factors by means of an influence degree axis and a satisfaction degree axis.
The factor which was to be improved was high influence and low satisfaction : movie from floors above、sounds from neighbors、sounds from the surroundings、leisure facilities.
The factor which was to be neglected was low influence and low satisfaction : none.
The factor which was to be deteriorated was low influence and high satisfaction : age of houses、interior decorations、water condensation、ceiling heights .
The factor which was advantages was high influence and high satisfaction : humidity conditions、thermal conditions、illumination、ventilation conditions、floor areas、dispose of rooms、landscape and greenery、convenience of house location、air pollution、familiarity in home.
The respondents did not understand very well about the physical properties and chemical properties of wood. But most people like wood material. If they had choice, they would like to use wood material.
