This method can simultaneously optimize and appraise multi-design parameters and multi-assessment targets , and select the hullform appropriate to the different designs. In surmounting the design faults, considering the resistance only does not take into account other assessable targets at the same time. It reduces the design spiral procedures and selects the optimal hullform design parameters. The calculating results of the applied examples show that the design and analytic method in the paper present is simple and easily comprehended by designers.
