Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 化學研究所 === 87 === TiO2 was supported onto porous materials, including zeolite Y, mordenite, and MCM-41 by using precipitation method with organic solvents. Two preparation methods were compared and the difference between these two methods was the dehydration condition. The products were characterized by powder XRD, BET surface area measurement, TEM, SEM, IR, Raman and UV-Vis spectroscopies. It was found that the surface area and the XRD peak intensity decreased with the increase in TiO2 loading. A blue shift of the absorption edge with decrease in particle size was observed in the UV-Vis spectra, corresponding to the particle size quantization effect of the TiO2 particles. For decomposition of pollutants in water, the activity was influenced by the nature of the support, particle size of TiO2 and the preparation method.
