There are two types of information flow: production information flowing downstream, and demand information flowing upstream. In this thesis, an integrated output planning methodology is proposed for production planning in supply chains made up of serial non-identical parallel machine systems. The methodology provides a scenario to integrate push and pull information in a supply chain, and there are two major decision tasks: nominal production plan generation, and output requirement specification and feasibility analysis. The major achievement of this methodology is that production information flow and production planning in serial non-identical parallel machine systems is analyzed. Moreover, it can be used for projecting WIP across stages of a supply chain, and for identifying infeasible output specifications. For feasible output specification, weekly production plans are determined based on integer linear program. Chou Y.-C. 周雍強 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 60 en_US
