Based on the collection data, the ideas of and persistence on educational issues of the principal, Mr. Chiao, are represented in the current thesis. In the mean time, the turning points in Mr. Chiao’s Life are also described. The findings and conclusions of the study are listed generally in followings. Ⅰ.Mr. chiao’s ideas and persistence: He believed the education should emphasize the students’ verbal, grammar and mathematics during the elementary level. He believed the way he did in the schools, required all the students had to reach the standard scores, would help the students to get better life in the future. Ⅱ.The key person and turning point time in Mr. Chiao’s life including: 1. After the world warⅡ, the Feng-Lin Junior high school was open for all Taiwanese students once who pass the entrance examination. He has the opportunity to continue his academic area. If he did not get in the junior high school, he may become a farmer as his father did. 2. One of his junior high school teachers, enlightened him and showed him to be a good teacher. He believed the his teaching methods and teaching attitude were highly influenced by his teacher. 3. The help from the neighborhood was imprinted in his mind when he was young. Therefore, Mr. Chiao keeps telling himself to help people when they need. 4. The requirements from the Junior Teachers College by the principal had influenced him very much. Mr. Chiao believed most of his personality and attitudes in education were developed at the five-year college life. 5. One of most important person in his life was Mr. Leu, the chairman of academic administration at the Shei-Len elementary school at the first year of Mr. Chiao’s teaching career. Mr. Chiao said Mr. Leu taught him a lot things which he did not learn at the college. Ⅲ.Mr. Chiao was a complete control style person. He was fully involved the stuff of school administration and attempted to control everything. Ⅳ.The ways and attitudes of problem-solving. 1. Never give-up (School building engineering ): This spirit has make anyone who has different stands understand his mind and begin to know that this man really want to do something. 2. True compassionate (Doing with the accident): If the student happened to accident at school, he would be handle it by true compassionate mind. He believed that there were no troubles that you can’t solve. 3. Do his best (constructing community human-relation networks): The principal Chiao participated every important thing like wedding and funeral in the community to construct his personal community human-relation networks. 4. Feel thankful in his mind: The principal Chiao always feel thankful in his mind for the donations by the students’ family, then they would feel the donations were worthy. 5. No corruption: The principal Chiao insisted on his own principle. That is no corruption in his work, then there were no fear to face any one. 6. No disgrace by himself: Even the councilman accused of him participating the community wedding and funeral, he felt no disgrace about that. He think that it is helpful to the student and education. Ⅴ.The weakness of Mr. Chiao’s principal life 1. His educational beliefs: The principal Chiao believed that the student must be trained by basic verbal and mathematics ability, but this educational ideas maybe let the student feel no love and respect, and then the student will lost their vision, thinking and critical ability. 2. The totally controlled style: Today the teacher self-consciousness and dominance are very high. The principal Chiao’s style maybe not apt for today’s circumstance. 3. Paternalism style: The principal Chiao led the colleague with paternalism style. Such style produced high pressure on his subordinate. 4. The role that he played: the principal Chiao play the role that he was the all student’s tutor, but this style maybe also not apt for today. The student’s problem should be related to his own tutor, and the tutor can construct his own direct connection with student’s family like the principal Chiao. 5. Over pressure on the school building engineering: Our government let the principal carry the responsibility about the school building engineering. This work beyond the educational field.
