In some system(ex: weapon control system、aircraft navigation
system), which needed high performance INS to offer high
precise and total navigation information, but this kind of INS
tend to be large, heavy and expensive, so it is not proper to
application for genera use.Therefor, by using low-cost inertial
sensor to achieve low cost INS for the value of practicability.
This paper describes the complete low cost inertial navigation
system, including the hardware architecture, data acquisition,
inertial component output processing and software architecture,
By the test result show that the system can reach 0.27 degree
in pitch, 1.95 degree in roll, 0.91 degree in.heading,Addition,
the low cost INS tend to small and light so that more proper
application in GPS/INS system to increase accuracy and reliability.
