Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 資訊教育研究所 === 87 === ABSTRACT This study is to determine an optimal field for the navigation map in hypermedia courseware. The influence of navigation maps with different field on disorientation was investigated. 192 fourth-grade elementary students from five intact classes participated in this study. A one-factor quasi-experimental design was adopted. The independent variable is the field of navigation map and the dependent variable is the degree of disorientation referred by number of browsed pages, number of searching steps, and score of disorientation. The results show that the navigation map field did impact pupils’ performance in terms of searching steps, and the larger is the better, but not necessary to be global.
