Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 工業工程與工程管理學系 === 87 === Panoramic image presents a new approach which uses 360-degree cylindrical images to compose a virtual environment.Using the panoramic image, the user can view around environment which like he stand in center and can to control the view scope to see right or left environment just like he is really in the place. This study postulate using panoramic images can do a favor for better visual cognition especially in landmark and route knowledge. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effects of using panoramic images in cognitive learning and also to evaluate the postulate. The research use computer as experimental platform, to compare the differences from "panoramic" versus "panoramic + guide map" for user to learn the spatial cognition. The conclusion reveal that panoramic can aid people to build landmark and route knowledge; then assistant with the guide map people can learn landmark route and survey knowledge at the same time.
