Dedicated instruments for simple measurement have been replaced by intelligent electronic devices that are capable of measuring normal and transient state behaviors. Digital and frequency domain analysis techniques have been introduced for power quality monitoring. This thesis explores possible applications of Goertzel Filter in electric power measurements. Comparisons of FFT and Goertzel Filter algorithms are given. Simulation results have indicated that with high speed digital signal processor Goertzel Filter is able to provide harmonic spectrum in a real time fashion. The calculated spectrum can then be used to calculate many power components under sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal situations. Chan-Nan Lu 盧展南 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 74 zh-TW
