Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 87 === AbstractThis work is to develop three predictive models, including the multiple inputs/single output model, the noise model, and the reference channel model, for determining the cutting forces of machine tools based on the measuring of the acceleration response in the cutting process. The distribution of time and frequency domain responses of cutting forces can be determined, and so forth the average and standard deviation of the cutting forces can also be obtained. The frequency response functions of the system are first obtained via experimental modal analysis. The acceleration response at the cutting tool can then be measured in the cutting process. Through the different predictive models, the cutting forces can be determined and compared with those values obtained from the three different predictive. It is shown that the predictive models have satisfactory accuracy and adaptation for different cutting conditions. The cutting force determination for turning process are demonstrated for the feasibility of the cutting force predictive models. This work can also be applied to other cutting processes.
