Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 87 === The study aims to (1) understand junior high school students'''''''' status quo about their personalities, interpersonal relationships, sources of happiness, and degree of happiness; (2)analyze the correlation between students'''''''' backgrounds, personalities, interpersonal relationships, source of happiness, and degree of happiness; (3)test whether students'''''''' personalities interact with interpersonal relationships and degree/sources of happiness resu; (4)discuss how students'''''''' personalities and their interpersonal relationships predict sources of happiness and degree of happiness; and (5)provide some suggestions as references of guidance for junior high school students and future researches according to the research findings.
The study adopts questionnaire survey method, using 33 public junior high school schools in Kaohsiung as the sampling pool, where 1057 students are tested. After using descriptive statistics、t-test、 one-way ANOVA、Person''''''''s Product-Moment Correlation、two-way ANOVA、and Stepwise Multiple Regression to process the survey data, the main findings are described as follows:
1. Status quo about students'''''''' personalities, interpersonal relationships, sources of happiness, and degree of happiness.
(1) Students tend to extraversion and optimism.
(2) Generally speaking, students have a good relationship with others.
(3) Students feel much happy from all kind of activities, but they seldom join in activities.
(4) Among scores of sources of happiness, the highest is "Peer Participation" Activity and the lowest is "Knowledge Performance" Activity.
(5) Students feel satisfied and happy about their whole life.
2. Personalities, interpersonal relationships, sources of happiness, and degree of happiness partly vary with personal background variables.
(1) The 9th grade students significantly tend to more introversion and pessimism than the 7th graders and the 8th graders. There is no significant difference on gender.
(2) With regard to interpersonal relationships, girls are better than boys; the younger they are, the better they get.
(3) Concerning sources of happiness, there is no significant difference on grade and gender.
(4) As for degree of happiness, no significant difference is found on gender; the younger they are , the happier they feel.
3. There is a positive correlation between personalities and interpersonal relationships.

5. There is a positive correlation between personalities and degree of happiness.
6. There is a positive correlation between interpersonal relationships and sources of happiness.
7. There is a positive correlation between interpersonal relationships and degree of happiness.
8. Personalities and interpersonal relationships have no interaction with sources and degree of happiness.
9. Peer relationship, family relationship, and extraversion can predict mainly sources of happiness.
10. Family relationship and optimism can predict mainly degree fo happiness.
