Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 87 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of CCLT on elementary students’ math achievement、 math anxiety and math attitude. Four schools, sixteen classes, and 474 second-grade students were involved in experimental teaching design. This research tested the different effects of students learning arithmetic 、 math anxiety and math attitude between CCLT and ordinary teaching. Three instruments including Math Unit Achievement Test、 Math Anxiety Scale and Math Interesting Scale were administered to these students. The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and two-way ANCOVA. Three main findings of this study were as followed:
1. Experimental group scored higher than control group on place value problems、 three-digit addition problems、 three-digit subtraction problems、 addition word problems and subtraction word problems. There was no significant difference between both of them in two-digit addition problems and two-digit subtraction problems.
2. There was no significant difference between experimental group and control group in math anxiety scale.
3. There was no significant difference between experimental group and control group in math interesting scale.
According to these results, this study proposed discussions and suggestions for the educational application and future research.
