Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 87 === The purpose of this study was to explore:
1. The types of elementary school teachers'''' leisure activities and the current situation.
2. Elementary school teachers'''' perception toward the factors of leisure barriers.
3. The attitudes of elementary school teachers toward leisure.
4. The relation of elementary school teachers'''' personal background varieties, leisure activities, leisure barriers, and the attitudes of leisure.
5. The predictive ability of elementary school teachers'''' leisure participation which would be influenced by their personal background varieties, leisure barriers and leisure attitudes.
The subjects of the study were aimed at public qualified elementary school teachers. Among the 700 distributed questionnaires, there are 631 valid copies. Data were analyzed through Descriptive Statistics, One-way ANOVA, and Multi-stepwise Regression Analysis. The conclusions were summarized as follows:
1. Most elementary school teachers had positive attitudes toward leisure. But few of them participated in leisure activities. And they were easily influenced by the factors of leisure barrier.
2. On account of personal background varieties, the situations that teachers participated in leisure activities were different: Most of the teachers who participated in leisure activities were female, age 41-50, and had been teachers for 16-20years.
3. Because of personal background varieties, elementary school teachers'''' perceptions toward factors of leisure barriers were also different: Young, single teachers who worked in administrative department were easily obstructed by personal factors.
4. Elementary school teachers'''' attitudes toward leisure wouldn''''t be different no matter they had different personal background varieties.
5. Among the predictive abilities caused by teachers'''' personal background varieties and leisure attitudes toward activities which teachers participated in, the "behavior intention" of leisure attitudes were the most predictable, while the leisure barriers were the less predictable.
Base on research results, this study proposes suggestions respectively to elementary school teachers, school administration, government, touring business owners, and the future study.
