A change from the traditional procedural and structural design concept to Object-Oriented concept and design model. The characteristics of Object-oriented approachare that it can access all the data by object type. The data of Geographic Information System are divided into spatial data and attribute data. when we use Object-oriented approach ,we can process data by object type. Object-oriented approach provides special functions, such as classification、generalization、aggregation、grouping、inheritance and propogation that can be used to handle complicated geographic data. In the study, we construct the plate management information system about how to apply object-oriented paradiam, proceed the analysis and design of prototyping by the object-oriented analysis method of.
