Summary: | 碩士 === 國防醫學院 === 公共衛生學研究所 === 87 === Purposes of this study is to examine the knowledge, attitude and practice of pediatrician and family physician toward National Health Insurance Child Preventive Program. The population of this study include all the pediatrician and family physician in Taiwan. Data was collected by structured questionnaire. The real retrieving rate is 17.7%. Because in this study there were 68 doctors who both were pediatrician and family physician, so this group was divided as a separate specialty.
The finding of this study was described below.
1. Pediatrician is the major provider of National Health Insurance Child Preventive Program. But most providers don’t have fixed section to delivery this service.
2. Most doctors don’t know the regulation “Physician can’t apply for diagnosis fee as at the same visit they provide other general treatment , but they can apply for the drug fee”.
3. Most of these three specialties agree that National Health Insurance Child Preventive Program benefits to child health, and tend to support the ongoing of this program. On the other side, they don’t agree “Providing National Health Insurance Child Preventive Program conduces to keep or increase patient. The design of Child Health Manual is suitable for use. The exam item of Child Health Manual can screen unusual child effectively.”
4. Most doctors intend to increase the price of this service, especially pediatrician. They wish this service can be subsided by government just like Taipei to increase payment and frequency.
5. Physician’s knowledge and attitude toward National Health Insurance Child Preventive Program are related. Better knowledge accompanies greater attitude.
6. Low payment is the man reason decrease the intention of physician to provide this service(71.9%). Furthermore, “time-consuming (56.5%)”,”some exam item not execute well (54.4%)” also can affect physician’s providing will.
