Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 自然資源管理研究所 === 87 === Abstract Eco-villages are the living habitat composed of 50 to 1000 people. By autonomic management of local people, eco-villages integrate the multi-dimensional development of human life , such as economy , culture, education , ecology and spiritual. On the base of communities, natural resources management may be done in a decentralized manner by eco-villages to reach the goal of sustainable development. The Global Summit in 1992, the global eco-villages movement try to link and combine all the similar projects around the world , and create a new "circular metabolism" to replace the present " linear metabolism" which endanger the nature resources and create pollution in our environment. Ecological architecture and premaculture are the important theory and methods for eco-villages. In Taiwan, the Ui-Jin master unit in Tainan is the pioneer project of such social experiment. In the practical programming of eco-villages, the maximum carrying capacity of population should be considered, and the optimized arrangement of different usage of land has to be designed to meet the basic requirement of habitant and ecological function. By setting up the linear programming model , this research try to solve the problem of optimization of land utilities and carrying capacity in Ui-Jin master unit. In this model, on the base of supply, the land was divided into three categories , A B and C, according to their topography and present utilization. On the base of demand, five kinds of utilities on the three categories of land were set into respective variances. The maximum population supported in the master unit was selected as the objective function When the coefficients relation among the variances was decided, we may write the linear equation of linear programming into the software. After the operation of computer, the optimized result could be achieved. The result provided a optimized suggestion for present master plan and showed that the agriculture land well be in shortage after some time in the present plan. The Sarkar school , an educational project in the master unit, planned to build the first ecological high school building in Taiwan. In the second part of this research , on the base of optimization programming, ecological architecture will be used to design the outline print of the building. Several sub-plans will be drawn by using ecological architecture and considering both the possible utilization of natural resource and the demand of school. .By integrating the sub-plans , a outline print can be achieved as a base for practical building. In this process, a building programming pattern in eco-villages can be built , and assessment system can be used in the future. Finally, some suggestion was proposed to facilitate the circular metabolism in Taiwan to ensure the sustainable development in the coming new era.
