The social skills training group included two targeted students identified as behavioral disorders and four students with social competence. A multiple baseline across behavior design was used in this study. The independent variable of this study was social skills training program with token economic system. The dependent variables of this study were the percentage of the targeted social skills, the pre-and posttest of peer nominations, and the questionnaires. The effects of the intervention were assessed during and after the training program. Three behaviors (e.g. attention behaviors, coping with conflict, and cooperative behaviors) were targeted to record the social skill gains for the two students with behavioral disorders. Social validity, which included three semi-structured questionnaires, e.g., one for target students, one for the teachers of the targeted students, and the other for the parents of the targeted students, was assessed to evaluate the effects of the program. All students showed improvement of the targeted social skills during the training program. Follow-up data, which conducted in the regular class sessions, suggested maintenance of treatment gains. All students displayed an increase on their social skills and all positives in self-reported questionnaire. The result of peer nominations showed a great improvement from high negative nominations(e.g., 18 and 15) to zero negative nominations for the two targeted students. Parents and teachers also reported the significant improvement of the trained social skills of the targeted students outside the training sessions. The results of all three questionnaires showed positive evaluation on the social skills training program. Hua Feng 鳳華 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 202 zh-TW
