Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 87 === Overloading and non-linear operations are the two major problems in the design of high-order sigma-delta modulators. Traditionally, the designer design modulators based on synthesizing the transfer function of structure matched filter. This process is vulnerable to overloading and instability, and quite often obtained unrealizable circuit coefficients. In this thesis, we develop an efficient design flow for high order sigma-delta modulators. The proposed method use the transfer function of the structure-matched filter as initial solution to synthesize the transfer function of the modulator. The goal of the thesis is to increase the value of SNR and the dc input range of modulator without occurring instability. Experimental results show that, higher SNR, and dc input range than that of conventional methods and structures for order from 3 to 5.
