improved by a feedback control technique. By introducing an
extra feedback control term cS (t- ), chaotic light output can
be achieved by tuning the parameter c without changing the input signal and the bias current. In chaotic region, the power
spectra of the photon density shows a broad continuous component
and indicates chaotic vibrations in the laser diode. This approach
offers an external-controllable chaotic light source for possible
digital communication and cryptographic applications.
