At continuous annealing line of steel-making factory, cermets coating on high-temperature roller can extend the using life of roller and reduce the cost of maintainence. In this research were used different mix rates of Al2O3 powder and styles of mill powder with HVOF process. Tests including deposition rate, microhardness, porosity and ability of resist Build-Up were conducted on the deposited cermets coating. The effect of different rate of Al2O3 and style of mill powder on the properties of coating were to be determined.. From the experiment results, the vibration mill can obtain greater the microhardness of coating then that of the ball mill, but both mills have lower deposition.
