Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 87 === The Electrical Distribution System Functional Inspections (EDSFI) has recently identified the deficiencies of the nuclear power plant, such as incomplete control and documentation of plant design changes, problems of data management retrieval and updating, incomplete as-built information and incomplete verification of design. Therefore, it is required to build a management model to integrate design document control processes suitable for power plants to know precisely their as-built condition at all times in its life. Configuration management (CM) model is a methodology to ensure each equipment / item can meet its functional and physical requirements and changes are rigidly controlled, well documented, and accurately conformed to original design criteria. The ultimate goal of this study is to work out a delicate CM model especially suitable for the newly established power plants through integrating the related EDD management theories and adopting the advantage in CM. As a consequence, with an eye to fixing the defects identified in a power plant*s EDD management, a concrete CM model with seven essential points is advanced: 1. To build a system structure of the plant and select the items of CM. 2. To develop a numbering system. 3. To set up the design criteria. 4. To transform hardcopy to electronic files. 5. To add up items for evaluating changes in design. 6. To establish the relationships of documents. 7. To apply computers as the powerful tool to implement CM. The study conclude that CM can provide a guideline for the management of EDD and has a positive effect on the engineering quality and productivity.
