Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 醫學工程研究所 === 87 === Radiation oncology is the most common and efficient treatment in early stages of NPC (Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma). The treatment planning procedures play a significant role in determining the results of treatment of the NPC oncology. There are many clinical applications utilized in various kinds of cancers in radiation oncology. But none of them is for NPC treatment. In this project, we use the image processing techniques combined with the clinical diagnosis and radiation physics to design our system. Up to now, this system could provide us objective results in NPC tumor volume and its spatial location. These information are very important in treatment planning procedures.
