碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系 === 87 === World Wide Web is a powerful tool for information sharing. Web Based Teaching also becomes a new style for learning. Students can study any time, anywhere. With the support of multimedia, students can even experience the live shows from the teaching places. However, preparing the teaching material on the web is a heavy job and may involve much human work. To facilitate the authoring of voice-enabled web documents, we design the Recording and Playing System. This system can do voice recording automatically when the teaching course progress. The voice data recorded are integrated with the web documents and can be retrieved for playing back. The system is used for the teachers to make audio annotation to their teaching materials provided in web documents. Via the audio annotation, web documents become very useful teaching materials for students to review or learn asynchronously. In this paper, we will describe how the system is designed and implemented and related technologies we uesd.
