| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 教育研究所 === 87 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the career compromise of 5-year junior college students. Survey data from sample of 397 students of 13 junior college were collected and were used to assess the differences between male and female, and the students between traditional gender-typed major and non-traditional in terms of career compromise. The results show that there was no significant difference between male and female, nor the students between traditional and nontraditional gender-typed major neither. However, prestige is the most important variable when the subjects consider to career compromise. In addition, gender, gender-type major, and compromise (sextype, prestige, interest)are not independent.
