Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學及工程學系 === 87 === Thin films of boron nitride have been deposited on the surface of carbon fibers and carbon substrates by dip-coating in methanolic boric acid and ureas solutions, respectively followed by drying at room temperature, heating in vaccum, and finally nitriding in an ammonia flow at 1000℃. This paper present results on the deposition and the characterization of thin BN films. The influence different process parameters, such as the concentration and viscosity of the coating solution, the withdrawal speed, dipping times and thermal treatment on important properties such as film thickness, crystallinity and photography was tested. Viscosity and films thickness measurements, Fourier transformation infrared reflection spectroscopy(FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope(SEM), electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis(ESCA) and auger electron spectroscopy(AES) were used.
