碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工業設計學系 === 87 === The purpose of this study is to construct a standardization system for product’s operation-interface design. The perceptual image of a product will first be analyzed by using gray-system theory, which is then transferred into the data that can be used by the designer in the process of operation-interface design. In additional, a market investigation will also be conducted by using gray-statistics to collect the customs of the consumers in operating a product and the ergonomics design criteria are introduced into this system to form a database. Based on this database, a computer-aided program for product’s operation-interface design will be constructed. With the assistance of this program, several design criteria will be suggested and a product possessing the required image and a standardized arrangement with user-friendly operation-interface will be obtained if it can be designed based on the suggested design criteria. In the way, not only the learning time for operating the designed product can be reduced when the customer first contact this product, but the performance of the product can also be improved and the man-machine interface is more friendly.
