One of the biggest problems with surfing on the Internet is the amount of people using it. The more users that wish to view virtual environment simultaneously, the more calculations and the more update messages there are that need to be transmitted by and through the Internet. For this paper, we carried out some research on methods to reduce the amount of update message. We divided the overall environment during preprocessing and set up mutual static visibility information for each of the resultant divisions. Furthermore, we produced mutual active visibility information from the viewpoint of the participants during execution and filter out the participants that really have visibility relation based on static and active visibility information. In this way, updating message only requires transmitting to those participants with visibility relations.
