The topics including the electronic voting, the electronic money and the sealed-bid in the network, will enforce us to the computerized society. With the boundless networks, we surely can access information much easily. Among those varieties of applications, we focus our attentions to the protocol of sealed-bid in the network. With our proposed protocol , the processing of bidding might be more efficient, more transparent and more just than ever before. In this paper, we propose a protocol of sealed-bid in which those concepts including RSA public key cryptography, symmetric private key cryptography, one-way hash function, and electronic envelope, are used. Our intentions are trying to meet the requirements of sealed-bid in the network. Moreover, we are expect to solve those security problems of sealed-bid so that the protocol may be practical for use.
