Since French revolution was erupted, the political situation of France is apparently inbalance then other european country. Karisma politics is an unique phenomenon. After french revolution, political leaders lead political situation in his personal will to win support from fench people. When Karisma leader step down the political stage, France had to pay for its unbalance development.
In the beginning of second republic, most people back on republic system but republican did not made any long term plan. On constitution, republican focus on their own class interest therefore they compromised with other political power which caused second republic in danger. In the beginning of constitution making, all political powers wish to prevent the monopoly of executive power and Karisma politics. In second republic constitution, the legislative share power with executive but not check and balance. In practice of constitution, the legislative power did not work because of inaccordiance of political parties. The one who control the executive power often to ruin the constitution system. Maurice Alguhon call second republic as apprentissage era. The practice of the constitution had exploded the shortages that encouraged Louis Napoleon to launch the coup d'etat.
The failure of second republic can be telled into political aspect and economical aspect. As political aspect, Since 1799, Napoleon I launch coup d'etat to end the first republic, France had changed its regime for several times. People were still expecting republic. The lower class and work class over expect republic that caused capitalist and republican fought back. The republican power was eliminated.
As economic aspect, since 1830's, French economy had made great progress. The middle class and work class had rised. For fighting their own interests and politiccal status, they united and fought against noble class. France had fallen into long term detente and the economy development had strangled.
Louis Napoleon's life goal is to build empire and to revive the Bonarparte family. He luckly were elected as president. He was sensitively found out the paradox of republic.
He won people's support to control the political situation and rebuild empire at last.
