The research is to study the influence of the medium physical properties on the filling volume of the filling machine and to develop the regression equation. This model is served as the control basis of the filling volume for the on-line filling machine. The effect of filling performance for the single spiral pump on the filling machinen also be studied.
The results of this study indicated that the filling volume have the significant relationship with the temperature, viscosity, density, and moisture content of medium. By the Multreg software, the experimental data was analyzed to obtain the prediction model of the filling volume. The temperature of medium is ranged from 70℃ to 90℃, the viscosity of medium is ranged from 2.5 cp to 100 cp, the speed of pump is ranged from 40 rpm to 100 rpm, and the control time is ranged from 1 sec to 5 sec. The prediction model of the filling volume have a good predictive performance within the range of the experiment. The prediction model can be adopted for the on-line automatic medium filling machine.
The results of the single spiral pump was further observed for the uniformity of the transportation of the medium. By the SigmaPlot software, the experimental data was analyzed to obtain the quality control chart. The results of the experiment indicated the single spiral pump had a good effect on the automatic medium filling machine.
The prediction model was used to modify the filling volume of filling machine. However, the nutrient of the medium might not be understood. The controlling the uniformity of the nutrient is need to be further studied.
