碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 昆蟲學系 === 87 === This article dealt with 6 genera, 12 species and 2subspecies of the Blattellinae of Taiwan. There were 6 genera, 18 species and 2 subspecies from Taiwan before. There are 2 species are new to science, i. e., Blattella neoformosana n. sp. and Hemithyrsocera subfasciocula n. sp. in this paper. In addition to classical morphological characters, the scanning electron microscope(S.E.M.) was applied to investigating the ultra structure of abdominal tergal glands of the male cockroach. The key to genera of Blattellinae of Taiwan and the key to species of the genus Blattella and the genus Episymploce of Taiwan were provided in this paper.
