In the meantime, the experimental results are categorized and used as design-base of the deep drawing of husk composites. Based on the experimental results, it is found that the forming conditions significantly influence the drawing depth. The dimensions of mold-set is designed as the diameter of the upper mold 70mm, the diameter of the lower mold 120mm, and the thickness of blank 1.0mm. When forming husk-sheet blanks to a bowl by using single-action compression-molding process, the maximum bowl depth is approximately 27mm. However the maximum bowl depth is increased to 37.5mm by using compound-action compression-molding process associated with wrinkling guiders. Meanwhile the design window will have much more tolerance and the better quality of product is under controll.
